Broadwater Block Parties
To bring our neighborhood even closer together, the Board approved funds for Block Captains to have local block parties. So far there have been 5 block parties.
On April 8th Captain Bob Uhrie and Captain Joyce Lane (both 48th Ave S) combined their blocks to have an evening of fun in Bob’s front yard. Their theme was “I wear my sunglasses at night” and they voted on the best decorated glasses. view slideshow

On April 17th Captain Ted Seefeldt and his neighbors on 40th Street South gathered at the cul-de-sac for their Annual Block Party Picnic.Approximately 35 people attended the party which provided an opportunity to welcome new neighbors to Broadwater and gave everybody a chance to get acquainted with each other. New friendships were made after talking about common interests, hobbies, etc. The grill was fired up and the food and beverages were plentiful; everything from homemade ginger beer to triple dark chocolate brownies. It was enjoyed by all! view slideshow
